This month I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful winter wedding a little north of Chicago.  I was challenged by shooting my first all-indoor wedding, but the venues were beautiful and so were the people!  It was so fun to photograph Anne and Peter and see how totally in love they are every time they look at each other!  They were soooo excited to be getting married, and I think their happiness shows in every photo.  Here are a few favorites!

My beautiful cousin Krysten got married last weekend at her parents lake home.  While I wasn't the photographer for the event, I still had fun trying to capture all the gorgeous details and wanted to share my favorite shots.

This was a super fun lake wedding.  Right on the water, with some beautiful views of the Selkirk Mountains.  The wedding offered plenty of bbq food, country music, and beer from the keg - good times!  It was a scorching hot 95+ degree day, but the wedding party did a great job of holding it together and keeping things cool.

Such a fun and beautiful couple.  I am shooting their wedding in a few days, and they just realized they need a photo for their guestbook.  We did this quick shoot last night and got some good shots!  Here are a few of my faves.

I had the opportunity to second shoot this wedding with the fabulous Hannah Bergman.  It was a beautiful day at Beacon Hill, and Natalie & Adam had planned so many fabulous details for their wedding.  Thank you Hannah for the chance to tag a long and experience this wedding with you!    

My adorable and silly niece Hailey got this fairy princess dress-up outfit from grandma for her birthday.  It inspired me to do a fun and playful shoot with her. What cracks me up is how serious she looks in most of the photos - that is so not her!  We had a lot of fun, and I may have bribed her with the promise of ice cream afterwards... :)

I'm lucky enough to have friends/family with super cute kids that I get to take pictures of. Here is my good friend Lisa's little guy, Gannon. He might be one of the happiest, most joyful babies I've ever met (not to mention cutest).

I had the opportunity to shoot along side the fabulous Steve Steinhardt for this wedding.  Steve was actually my wedding photographer, and since then he has been so gracious in helping me get my business up and going.  This was such a gorgeous wedding, my first that I've seen planned by the oh-so-talented Jaime Johnson.  Beautiful flowers by The Art of Flower, and a gorgeous location - Elkins Resort - made for one amazing wedding.
